collaboration inspiration

Because twitter exists primarily as a real time experience, it is less like a chat (an exchange which can be saved and readily accessed) and more like a phone call. Therefore, art created on twitter bears more resemblance to a performance than to a published work.  Consequently, this blog was created to accomplish three things:

1. function as an easily accessible & comprehensive real time visual component to the ArtDialogue tweets
2. have a document/archive of the complete “performance”
3. share the experience with viewers outside the 1stfans circle.

The 1stfans tweets this month fell into 3 categories:

1. Theme announcements & requests for participation
2. RTs of @1stfans contributions
3. Information loosely gathered under the term “collaboration inspiration”

Collaboration inspiration tweets were made to inspire participation and they ranged in content from:

• RTing other 1stfans projects (even if those tweets did not include an @1stfans reference) to
• links to image based collaboration projects elsewhere on the web to
• anything interesting or quirky that related to the week’s theme.

Another major component of my fascination with the web (in addition to creating image based conversations) is the ability to archive. Since I feel that this project is the sum of all of its tweets, I am including below (as a reference and for your increased enjoyment) any tweet that was made in hopes of inspiring 1stfans to participate:
