how do i play?

follow these 2 easy steps

1. find an image that responds to the current theme; it can either be on the web already or you can take a picture
2. tweet the url of the image to @1stfans, if you are taking a picture the easiest way to do this is directly from your cellphone

i thought this was a twitter project, is this the only place i can see it?

since twitter doesn’t support images, in order to see the project you need to use another program. we recommend viewing your twitter feed through tweetree (you can login using twitter) which will display a fair number of the images tweeted
you can also check out the 1stfans twitter feed through tweetree, (which btw is an excellent way to view @lorihepner dec ‘09 feed)

if you use a desktop client that does a good job of displaying tweeted images, please DM us and we will add it here.

i get the “conversation” part but what is a “thread”?

“threads” within “conversations” are created when a 1stfan tweets an image reply that responds to an image already posted to the dialogue.
to start/continue a thread, include in your tweet the @name and thread# associated with the image you are replying to.
the @name and thread# can be found at the bottom of each image post

is ArtDialogue work safe?

that depends on you guys, if you have any strong feelings about this please DM @1stfans

my image ended up in the wrong place (it was for a different theme or it was in response to someone elses image)

sorry, just send a DM so we can correct it and remember:
if you are responding to another 1stfans reply, include their @name and the thread# (found at the bottom of each post) in your @1stfans tweet

is it possible to see just the images that i tweeted?

type your twitter user name in the search box (upper right) and click on the binoculars,  if your name was mentioned on another page however, that page will be in the search results
